The second-gen Wraith will offer interlinked forward and rear foot controls, which Combat Motors claims is an industry first.

Combat Motors prides itself on representing the motorist purist with its heirloom-quality American motorcycles. The maker behind bikes such as the F-117 Fighter, P-51 Combat Fighter, and the FA-13 Combat Bomber, Combat Motors is entering a new era with the arrival of the second generation of its flagship model that could break our banks—the new 2021 Combat Wraith.

The all-new Wraith rides on an aluminum monocoque carved from solid billet blocks of military-grade material, with its 7-inch curved backbone containing the fuel load. Compared to the first-gen Wraith, the second-gen model features redesigned structural air-box, visible twin-plate throttle-body, and a restyled oval glass. Combat just wanted to make sure that the Wraith's internal workings are visible to the naked eye.

Its iconic structural fuel tank—CNC 5-Axis machined from aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum—could accommodate up to 4.5 gallons of fuel for longer rides. With a wheelbase of 62.5 inches and a seat height of 29.5 inches, the new Wraith rides on 19-inch BST carbon front wheel and 17-inch BST carbon disc rear wheel, as shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III 120/70ZR19 front tires and 240/45ZR17 rear rubbers.

Serving as an integral part of the Combat Wraith construction by acting as a stressed member, the 32-ci (2,163 cc) S&S X-Wedge V-Twin engine features a one-piece forged crankshaft and machined 6061 aluminum billet crankcase. Up to 108 hp of max output and 144 ft-lb of peak torque is sent to the wheel via 5-speed proprietary stacked transmission with Andrews gears, resulting to a top speed of over 160 mph.

Available in either raw machined aluminum or black anodized finish (Knight Wraith), the new Combat will be built with the future owner viewing via live, high-definition streaming video. Clients can watch as Combat construct their Wraiths, as hand-assembled by Combat’s master builder, Jason Reddick, in their full view.

According to Combat, only 21 examples of the Wraith will be built. Prototype #1 of the Knight Wraith is currently being assembled for Combat Motors owner Ernest Lee. He hopes to ride this new motorbike from Jacksonville, Florida to Malibu, California.

For those interested, Combat is willing to build a new Wraith at $155,000 MSRP for the Raw Machined version or $165,000 for the anodized black Knight Wraith.
