The Aprilia Tuareg 660 is finally making its way to market, and as these bikes show up around the world, the aftermarket is gearing up to make parts for them.

Of course, one of the first to line up for this is Touratech. Touratech loves to build expensive parts for expensive bikes, and the Tuareg 660 is the perfect example. So what is coming for the Aprilia?

Protective parts should be the first priority for any bike headed off-road, and Touratech offers a brake reservoir guard, headlight guard and handguards for the Tuareg. Wot, no crash bars? Weird.

Touratech makes a load of luggage, and that means we get a couple of rear rack setups (here, here), which in turn fit not only Touratech’s own in-house hard and soft luggage series, but also plenty of other aftermarket manufacturers’ cases and bags. See Touratech’s luggage for the Tuareg here, including some of their generic products which just happen to fit the Aprilia. That also means that if you’ve got Touratech parts (aluminum panniers probably being the most common and expensive example) that were previously bolted on to other bikes, well—now you can fit them to your Tuareg.

Other useful generic hard parts include a GPS mounting bracket, the Ibarra handlebar bag (available in “dumb” and “smart” versions), a windscreen deflector, a muffler heatshield, and the general assortment of power sockets. Touratech has been doing this a long time, and has an extensive catalog of useful bits. Find more at their website, but know that it sometimes takes a while for this stuff to reach North American distributors and retailers.
