The 2024 Ford Mustang is finally starting to show some skin as the company has released a new teaser video that gives us a glimpse at the pony car’s trunk.

While there isn’t much to see, the clip suggests the rear end has been modernized as it features sharper lines, while also eschewing the black fascia found on the current model.

More interestingly, the teaser shows a “GT Performance” badge and this suggests the GT Performance package will be making a return. While there’s no word on specifics at this point, the current package costs $6,700 and adds a front splitter and rear wing as well as black 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in summer-only performance tires.

Besides the styling upgrades, the GT Performance package includes heavy duty front springs, k- and strut tower braces, and a larger radiator for improved cooling. Buyers will also find a Torsen rear differential and six-piston Brembo front calipers that grab onto larger discs that measure 15 inches (380 mm), instead of the usual 13.9 inches (352 mm).

Other highlights include unique tuning for the chassis as well as revisions to the stability control system and anti-lock braking system. They’re joined by engine spun aluminum trim and additional gauges.
